We’re cooking up delicious menus all summer long at our Summer Camp! Each week of camp will focus on a different theme and each day will be a new culinary adventure.
Our sessions are designed to instill confidence in the kitchen. Students will learn key kitchen skills such as chopping, cooking and mixing techniques. They will use math and reading skills in learning how to read and mise en place a recipe. Students will make new friends while working as a team to complete the menu.
And most importantly, they will be empowered to make better decisions regarding food choices by exploring healthy foods and ingredients, and understanding the connection to their health.
- Morning camp, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm, for ages 5-8 years old
- Afternoon camp, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, for ages 9-13 years old
Included in Camp:
- A folder with all materials you will go over throughout the week.
- Your very own FlavorPot apron to take home and keep!
- Recipe cards for every item that will be made.
- Chef hats at the beginning of the week to wear and take home.
- Certificate of Completion at end of each week.
CHANGE POLICY: Please note that payment is due in full upon registration and is nonrefundable. Schedule changes can be made prior to May 1, 2017 subject to availability. After May 1, we regret that we cannot make any schedule changes, or offer makeups for missed camp days.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to advance nature of menus in weeks 8 and 9; we require that you attend at least one of weeks 1 through 7 to get comfortable with cooking and kitchen basics.
